Max von Abendroth joined EMMA in January 2005 as Director of Communications and Sustainability. He became Executive Director of EMMA in September 2009. Previously, he worked at the German Association of Magazine Publishers, VDZ. He is the initiator of the Future Media Lab. (www.futuremedialab.info). Max holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Witten/Herdecke University, Germany.

Pierre Dagard joined EMMA in June 2014 following a six month internship at EMMA. He holds one Master in European Affairs from the Institute of Political Studies of Bordeaux (France) and one LLM degree in European Law from the Institute of European Studies (ULB, Brussels). He wrote his Master’s thesis on the Google antitrust case with a special focus on possible interplays between EU data protection and competition law.

Joy de Looz-Corswarem joined EMMA in September 2016 as EU Affairs Manager. She holds a LLM degree in European law from Maastricht University (The Netherlands) and has been working in the copyright field before joining EMMA.

Marie De Cordier joined EMMA/ENPA in January 2017 as an EU legal advisor. She holds a master’s degree in International Corporate Law from the university of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a master’s degree in International and European law from the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour (UPPA).

Karin Fleming joined EMMA in October 2012, after having completed an internship there in 2011. Karin has a Master's in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ithaca College, Ithaca, New York (USA).

Charles Manoury joined EMMA in March 2017 as European policy Intern. He’s currently studying European Affairs and Lobbying at the Catholic University of Paris after finishing a master degree in European Law at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.
